Please allow us to introduce ourselves...

We are a new non-profit 501(c)3 No-Kill Humane Society located in St. Clair County. We are currently in the process of remodeling our new facility but plan to open the doors soon!

In the meantime we are taking in as many rescues and owner surrenders that we have fosters parents available for.
Those pets are then updated on all vaccinations, heartworm tested negative (Feline Leukemia tested for cats), wormed and spayed/neutered making them available and ready for their forever homes.


Our Mission Statement

Humane Society of St.Clair County/ S.N.A.P (Spay/Neuter/ Adopt/Protect) is a non-profit organization dedicated to ending unwanted litters of dogs and cats thereby eliminating the need for euthanasia of homeless animals. SNAP is dedicated to furthering the cause of humane animal care, education and responsible animal ownership.

We offer:

-Spay & Neuter Clinic.

-Assistance in locating lost or stolen pets.

-Educational outreach programs for children to learn pet ownership responsibilites.

-Adoption & Rescue of animals in need of loving homes.

- Assistance to animal owners in need.

 

SNAP provides financial assistance based upon need. Services are NOT limited by residence or ability to pay.

Funding is provided solely by fund-raising, donations and support of those wanting to make a difference in the lives of our community animals.

  Why we do. What we do....

 
Meet Ralph. This sweet boy is apx 8-10wks and was just pulled from St.Clair County Animal Control on Wednesday. He was taken directly to Dr.Robyn where he spent the night and was treated for his eye injury and skin condition.
He was diagnosed with Demodectic mange and it is believed that someone poured Kerosene on his face and body in an uneducated attempt to clear his condition. His eye was affected by the chemical but is healing nicely with his medications.
Despite all of this, Ralphie is lover!! Tail wagging at top speed and begging to be picked up and petted. No more worries little boy. We got this.
